Agathé arrived from Paris 18 months ago and has conquered the customers of Prahran with her traditional French pastries, as well as new hybrid cakes and flavours that change every week. Now she is bringing her kitchen to South Melbourne Market to serve you le déjeûner et le goûter!
Here Agathé will be creating her famous croissants, chocolate croissants, almond croissants, brioches, escargots and caneles. Plus her innovative pastries such as the Pandan crème brulée Danish, salted caramel & custard cruffin and the bicolour strawberry croissant.
Having trained at Ecole de Boulangerie Patisserie in Paris and also the prestigious patisserie Lenotre, French craftsmanship and 100% butter are what make her pastries so special. They’re extra crusty on the outside and extra soft on the inside.
Everything will be made in front of you by Agathé in an open kitchen and served fresh out of the oven. Don’t hesitate to linger near the front bench and learn a tip or two on how to make them yourself at home.
