Over 240 CEO’s will be sleeping out on the rooftop carpark on Thursday 20 June to raise awareness and money for homelessness.
The Vinnies CEO Sleepout is a one-night event over one of the longest and coldest nights of the year. Hundreds of CEOs, business owners as well as community and government leaders sleep outdoors to support the many Australians who are experiencing homelessness. Each CEO Sleepout participant commits to raising thousands of dollars to help Vinnies provide essential services to the people who need them.
Last year, the Vinnies CEO Sleepout raised 6.9 million dollars for people experiencing homelessness.
As poverty and homelessness continue to impact the vulnerable in our communities, the demand for Vinnies’ financial welfare assistance continues to rise – proof that Victorians are relying more heavily on the generosity of charities and volunteers to survive. You can help Vinnies assist people in need within our community by signing up to sleep out or sponsoring a CEO today. With the help of compassionate, generous and driven individuals like you, we can help break the cycle of poverty.
For more information on the event, to sign up or donate, visit the CEO Sleepout website.
Please note: The Market’s rooftop carpark will be closed to the public on Thursday 20 June.
