What did people do before clingwrap was invented? One solution was to use beeswax-coated fabric. In this workshop you will learn how easy it is to make beeswax fabric wraps for covering dishes, wrapping sandwiches, keeping bread fresh and just about everything clingwrap does – but with a lovely sweet fragrance and none of the nasties that come from plastic wrap.
Materials will all be provided for participants to make up to three wraps each, but if you have a particular lightweight fabric you’d like to use (preferably made from natural fibres) you are welcome to bring it along.
