Celebrate the Chinese Moon Festival

Hands-on workshop

This hands-on workshop celebrating the Moon Festival is not to be missed! You will learn to make the translucent wrappers from scratch and the various pleating techniques required to prepare a range of yum cha favourites. Recipes include: the classic har gow prawn dumpling;  seasonal Asian vegetable dumplings; delicate pearl balls (miniature meatballs rolled in rice); and aromatic lotus leaf sticky rice parcels. Enjoy the delicious results with a soba noodle vegetable salad.

Special Master Classes

Our Special Master classes run for a longer than our regular Master Classes, allowing you more time to get up close and personal with the chefs from some of Melbourne’s best restaurants. Sharing their extraordinary knowledge and expertise, our Master Class chefs will show you how to create the food that they are famous for and teach you how to take your cooking to the next level.
