Celebrate the Year of the Rooster in this fun, hands-on class. You will make a range of dumplings including: individual prawn and vegetable dumplings in the translucent dough made from scratch; siu mai, open-top dumplings made with ready-made wrappers; and pearl balls, tiny meatballs rolled in sweet glossy rice and steamed. Enjoy the feast with delicious dipping sauces and an Asian slaw tossed in a ginger, lime and sesame dressing. In the spirit of Chinese tradition, Lou will hand out hong bao (red envelopes) for an auspicious start to your year of dumpling making.
