    Cicchetti: Italian Entertaining

    Relaxed and chic entertaining

    Originating from the bars of Venice, cichetti (pronounced chi-KET-tee) are the Italian version of tapas and are soon to become just as popular their Spanish counterpart. These easy, prepare-ahead dishes are the answer to relaxed yet chic entertaining, and are perfect paired with a glass of wine or Aperol spritz. Pia’s delicious menu features a range of indulgent toppings for crostini and bite size polenta/parmesan biscuits, including artichoke and parmesan pesto, seasoned mascarpone with prosciutto, and gorgonzola with fig jam and pear; for a final showstopper, arancini with smoked bacon mayonnaise. If you have any room left, you will also get to indulge in a mini Italian dessert served with espresso. Pia will show you how these dishes can achieved successfully at home, and also provide plenty of other ideas, tips and tricks to take your entertaining to the next level.
