Hands-on cooking fun for kids aged 9-12 years
Put on your apron and chef’s hat and let’s get cooking! In this fun, hand-on class kids will make their own delicious pizzas from scratch. Using a range of toppings, they will learn about the great local vegetables we have at the Market, pick their own fresh herbs from pots, and learn about how they can grow their own at home. Learning has never tasted so delicious!
Note: Please ensure all chefs wear covered in shoes and tie long hair back for OH&S reasons. Classes are all fully supervised and designed to be an independent child focussed activity allowing the big people to explore the market. Please provide a water bottle for kids to drink during the session.

Chef and Primary School Teacher, Sweetpea Cuisine
Sally Lukey is a trained, registered and experienced primary teacher who is a foodie at heart. Growing up her Pa was a baker and Nana was a master of the apple pie. The kitchen was always somewhere Sally felt at home. Sally gained invaluable experience assisting and working with some of Australia's most loved and well known foodies, studied Commercial Cookery and eventually launched her food based consultancy Sweetpea Cuisine.
