Learn the artistry of kokedama making in this hands on workshop – hosted by Terrarium Laboratory. The art of Kokedama literally translates from “koke” meaning moss and “dama” meaning ball. It is a form of Japanese garden art that is centuries old and tied into the practice of bonsai. The moss ball can be fixed to a platform or suspended from string with the plant growing out from the moss ball. Come and join in the fun of making these kokedamas with step by step instructions and a few secrets and shortcuts. Nothing better than playing with soil and plants to reduce stress levels.
All materials provided. At the end of the workshop you’ll get to take home your self-made kokedama with plenty of care instructions to keep the plant happy. Kokedama plant varies depending on availability. Bookings will close 7 days before the workshop date.
