Amy Osbourne, founder and designer of the label “Forget Me Knot”, creates stunning, modern plant hangers with her signature use of colourful materials.
Join Amy for three hours of creative fun, learning all the basic techniques used in the art of macramé.
Macramé dates back to the 13th century, but is most well known for its popularity in the 70s. Now it’s made a comeback and is being transformed and creatively expressed in a whole new way.
In this workshop you will learn about the origins and history of macramé, as well as get to practice tying all the basic knots to create a stylish and modern plant hanger all of your own.
During the workshop, Amy will introduce you to:
- Materials used in macramé
- Basic knot tying
- How to create a plant hanger using macramé
All materials are included in the workshop fee, and at the end of the workshop you will have a stunning plant hanger to take home.
Classes are restricted to ten people to ensure one-on-one tuition.
