Danielle’s winter menu is all about enjoying hearty, robust fare, that is simply cooked using quality seasonal produce. Recipes include: little rabbit, lentil and kale pot pies; slow braised beef cheek with white polenta, baby king mushrooms and winter greens; and finally from northern Italy, Castagnaccio, a chestnut flour, pine nut, walnut, raisin and rosemary cake served with poached quinces.
