    Celebrate Alex’s Greek heritage

    Celebrate Alex’s Greek heritage with this exciting, modern menu, with recipes developed from his time as head chef at Press Club and Hellenic Republic. Alex’s recipes will include: red pepper hummus with iced vegetable crudité; end of summer tomato salad with smashed cooked potatoes, broccoli florets and feta; roast local rockling with a silverbeet, feta brine, oregano butter and lime sauce; beef and sides to share with yoghurt shallot dip, roast broccoli stalks, and grilled peppers with garlic and vinegar;  and to finish, irresistible namelaka, (Japanese for smooth and creamy), a chilled mixture of milk chocolate ganache, nutmeg and buttermilk, served with luscious, scorched figs and almonds.
