A delicious, meat-free feast

The Lebanese have a gift for cooking amazing vegetarian dishes. In this class, Bernadette will share some of family her favourites including: mjadra, a beautifully balanced lentil and rice dish with caramelised onions; fattoush, a fresh and delicious salad with a sumac dressing and topped with crispy Lebanese bread;  grilled eggplant lightly seasoned and finished with fresh mint and a pomegranate dressing; and arnabeet ma tahini, golden baked cauliflower coated in a creamy tahini dressing.

Bernadette Cheet is the founder of My Lebanese Kitchen cooking school. Being of Lebanese heritage, Bernadette has had the privilege of growing up with three generations of amazing Lebanese cooks in Australia and Lebanon. Through these wonderful cooks, she developed a strong passion and love for Lebanese food: its aroma, unique flavours and earthy colours.
