Farewell Field Barns & Co

Christmas Eve will mark the last day of trading for the Market’s popular larder, Field Barns & Co.

In December 2017, we lost one of our Market family and a dear friend to many. Michael Dragwidge, owner of Field, Barns & Co and husband of Georgie (Georgie’s Harvest), passed away suddenly from an aneurysm.

Since his passing, Georgie’s sister Angela and their team of staff have run Field Barns & Co, supplying market-goers with their freshly churned, award-winning butter, bags of flour and a wide selection of milks, eggs, honey and pantry essentials. They have said it is their wonderful customers that gave them the strength to keep it going, and pass on a heartfelt thank you to all of you.

The Market team would like to thank them all for their wonderful contribution to the Market and their dedication to supporting local producers and farmers. The stall will be incredibly missed by all.

Their popular milk collection will be available at Rod’s Fruit & Vegetables in the new year:

The Field Barns & Co collection of honey and eggs will be available at Georgie’s Harvest, along with their popular ghee.

Many of the yoghurt and flour brands will be available at Moses & Co Market Wholefoods in the new year, and the fresh dough at St George’s Bakery.

Remembering Michael Dragwidge.
