St. Ali Hand Sanitiser Project
This pop-up from coffee pioneers St. Ali allows customers to buy a bottle of hand sanitiser or bring a bottle in for a refill.
Working with HydroChem – a water treatment company with a lot of experience with chemicals – St. Ali made the decision to pivot their coffee and cafe business when the COVID-19 pandemic hit. They sourced the raw materials and retooled operations to manufacture, bottle, and ship hand sanitiser at scale, allowing them to hold onto a core group of staff and keep them employed over this turbulent period, and into the foreseeable future. In turn, this project allowed them to continue roasting coffee and serving up takeaway coffees at their flagship South Melbourne store.
The hand sanitiser project is donating hand sanitiser to those in need, so your purchase is helping you and your loved ones stay safe while helping a worthy cause. You can read more about it here.
