The Possibility Project (Pop-up)

NOT CURRENTLY HERE

The Indian term for ‘slum’ is Jhuggi – it describes the ability to fashion what you want out of what you already have. An enterprise of Sydney based The Possibility Project, slumwear108 imbues the Jhuggi spirit of resourcefulness. Each piece is lovingly made with fabrics sourced in India, sometimes new, sometimes preloved and stitched with pride and dignity through slow clothing processes. Sales of slumwear108 supports both dignified employment of youths living in India and furthers the social justice work of The Possibility Project.
