What days is the Market open?
The Market is open Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8am.
A lot of our Cecil Street restaurants and cafes are open other days, so check individual stall pages for opening days and times.

Are dogs allowed at the Market?
Dogs are NOT allowed inside the Market due to health and safety regulations.

How do I get to the Market?
The Market is easily accessible by tram, bus, bicycle or car. Visit our Getting Here page for details.

Is there parking available at the Market?
Yes, the Market has 2-hours free parking in the rooftop carpark on Market days. Click here to view carpark hours and rates.

Can I buy South Melbourne Market gift vouchers?
Yes! These can be purchased online or at the Market Office in Centre Aisle and are valid at all Market stalls.

I’d like to have a stall at South Melbourne Market. How do I apply?
All available stalls, including vacant stalls and sales of existing businesses, can be found on our stall applications page. Each listing advertised will have all the information you need about the stall, including the size, price, length of licence and the type of offer that will be considered for the space being advertised.

If you would like to be considered for an opportunity but none of the stalls advertised are suitable for your offering, you are welcome to fill in and submit this form so that we can contact you if an appropriate stall becomes available.

Is there an ATM at the Market?
