Easter at South Melbourne Market

The Market will be open on Thursday 17 April to give you time to load up on your Easter goodies and enjoy some family fun. Please note the Market will be closed on Good Friday (18 April) for the Public Holiday and open on Easter Saturday and Easter Sunday.
FAMILY FUN - THURSDAY 17 APRIL
The Easter Bunny will be making a very special appearance at the Market between 11am - 2pm. Hop on down with the kids and look out for our furry friend while you shop for your fresh Easter produce.
The Market’s annual Easter Egg Hunt is perfect entertainment for the kids and a great way to get them into the Easter spirit! From 9am, little adventurers will have a blast hunting for all the Easter eggs in the Market while following a map. This year, your $5 booking fee will be donated directly to The Good Friday Appeal. The Good Friday Appeal is a charity that raises money to enable The Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne to provide world class care for children. Places are limited. To book click here!
THE JAZZ JOKERS - EASTER SUNDAY
From 11:30am - 2:30pm, shop for your Easter goodies to the upbeat jazz tunes from the Jazz Jokers. These roving jazz musicians are a favourite amongst the Market traders and shoppers and put a smile on everyone's face.

HOT CROSS BUNS
Agathé - You'll be spoilt for choice with three indulgent varieties of hot cross buns from the popular French patisserie: classic, triple chocolate with cranberry and coffee with caramelised white chocolate. All using the Hot Cross Bun Spice Mix from Gewürzhaus, these fluffy buns of deliciousness will be available from Wednesday 26 March.
Cobb Lane - Cobb Lane are baking up fresh batches of traditional hot cross buns - fluffy, spiced and filled with sultanas, currants and orange peel. The Coventry Street baker is also serving seriously delicious chocolate and cherry versions - soft, rich and packed with dark chocolate and plump sour cherries!
