Simply Spanish Win Best Paella Outside of Spain
Leno Lattarulo of Simply Spanish has taken out the prestigious award for the Best Paella Outside of Spain at the 63rd edition of the International Valencian Paella Competition of Sueca on the weekend!
Simply Spanish is no stranger to the award, having won the Best Paella Outside of Spain Award in 2016, 2018 and 2020, and finishing in the top 10 best paellas in the world in both 2017 and 2019.
Paella is a popular dish enjoyed throughout Spain, but is particularly prominent in Valencia, a city on Spain’s east coast that is the dish’s undisputed birthplace. Since 1961, Valencia has held the annual Concurso Internacional de Paella (International Paella Contest) to decide who makes the world’s best version of this iconic dish.
