Watermelon Agua Fresca
The Mexican drink agua fresca, meaning fresh or cool water is made with water and fruit. Agua fresca is a versatile drink somewhere between straight juice and flavoured water. It is tasty enough to be enjoyed on its own, but it’s also a great option for sipping with a meal, making it an ideal non-alcoholic option for a Mexican feast.
Ingredients
- 1kg watermelon
- juice of 1 lime
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 3 cups water
- mint sprigs, lime slices, watermelon wedges, garnish (optional)
