Celebrating Victorian Makers and Producers
This October, we’re celebrating everything locally made and produced right here in Victoria. Many of our traders pride themselves on either making their products locally or supporting local artists and designers by stocking their Melbourne and Victorian made goods. As a consumer, you can make a difference to small business when you buy local and support producers, designers and our traders who source products made locally.
To celebrate Victorian producers, we're also hosting A Victorian Affair at the Market. Take a self-guided degustation tour of South Melbourne Market and immerse yourself in the tastes and flavours of local Victorian produce. Victoria is known for its skilled and innovative producers and is home to some of the best food and drinks in the world. This mouth-watering menu has been designed to showcase a wide variety of ingredients from across the state, with an emphasis on quality producers and seasonal produce.
