How long have you been at the Market?

28 years!

What do you love about the Market?

Everything! The atmosphere, the people, the friends I’ve made over my time, neighbouring traders – it feels like a family and there’s absolutely nothing I don’t like about the Market!

What does your stall provide?

We try to supply whatever our loyal customers may require, whether it be generous sizes or a lot of natural materials, cotton, linen and bamboo during the warmer months.

What makes your offering unique?

I’ve always loved fashion and everything you see in store is Australian designed. I have a passion for creating beautiful pieces for women that will last for years to come.  We also specialise in garments for plus-sized women, which isn’t too common. Returning customers tell me their garments have lasted 5-10 years and are still going strong - we focus on quality materials and design. We also have a loyalty card offering for our repeat customers that gives them an automatic 10% off everything in-store!

What are your top three fashion trends for summer and autumn?

Maxi dresses are a great option especially when they’re made from natural fabrics. Not only are they fashion statements, but keep you cool and protected from the sun. Alibaba pants are great for comfort and ours are tie-dyed in eye-catching bright colours. Pair with a simple tank top and some sandals for a simple go-to during the warmer months. But you also can’t go past a linen dress. Accessorise with a wide-brimmed hat and your favourite handbag and you’ll instantly look the part in a Noosa fashion show.

What are your top tips for creating a fashionable wardrobe?

It’s important to try clothes on first to ensure they fit well. But it’s also important to have a good range of basics and then add pops of colour. My picks are red and blue. Choose either colour that suits your skin tone and/or eye colour and pair with a neutral top or bottoms.

What are three of your favourite things you sell in your stall?

Our happy pants which are cotton harem pants with a dropped crotch and elasticised waist and ankles – they’re so comfortable. Maxi dresses in all our gorgeous, patterned fabrics. And last but not least bamboo t-shirts – the perfect staple.

Attiq's Ladies Clothing sells all of their coveted fashion pieces in woman’s sizes 10 to 20 and you’ll find them in Aisle D.
