Tea Drop Rum

White Spice Buttered Rum

This recipe comes to us courtesy of Tea Drop.


  • 2 tbsp Tea Drop’s White Spice loose leaf tea
  • ½ cup dark rum
  • 60 g butter (softened)
  • 20 g brown sugar

Mix butter and sugar into a 1L teapot, then pour in the rum and stir. Place the tea into the infuser and fill the teapot with hot water. Brew for 1-2 minutes before serving.

Tea Drop’s White Spice blend combines pure white tea, ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, star anise, rose and safflower to create a sweet and spicy flavour.
