A Seafood Affair
Take a culinary voyage around the Market and indulge in a menu from under the sea.
Explore South Melbourne Market's sights, sounds and smells as you take a self-guided tour, stopping along the way to sample dishes featuring the Market's incredible range of seafood from some of our wonderful restaurants, traders and delis.
The menu:
- Aptus Oyster Bar – Hiramasa kingfish with orange, sesame and yuzu dressing
- Bambu - Fried prawn dumplings with Bambu chilli XO sauce
- Burrata Bar - Aptus oyster with stracciatella and beetroot powder
- Claypots Evening Star – Sambal stingray
- Cobb Lane Bakery - Wakame seaweed fougasse
- Gem Pier Seafood - Scallop mornay pie
- Greek'n Out - Greek-style calamari with yoghurt dipping sauce
- Pickadeli - Smoked chilli lime mussels with crusty bread
- Simply Spanish – White anchovies on toast with sweet onion and chilli
- SMITHBURG. – Mini hand cut potato cake with whipped lobster and salmon roe
- South Melbourne Seafoods - Fresh Fisherman's basket (oysters, Morton Bay Bug and prawns)
Some of our restaurants and food traders’ dishes will cater for certain dietary requirements.
Ticketholders will receive a seafood stamp card, map and Market bag and can visit venues in their own time, during their allotted session time.

Tickets are $99 per person. This includes generous dishes from our traders, a seafood stamp card, map and a Market bag.

Two sessions will be available on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday:
- Wednesday 12 June, 11am and 2pm
- Friday 14 June, 11am and 2pm
- Saturday 15 June, 11am and 2pm
- Wednesday 19 June, 11am and 2pm
- Friday 21 June, 11am and 2pm
- Saturday 22 June, 11am and 2pm
